So, i'm not sure what to blog about because nothing eventful has happened lately. Well, i guess finishing summer semester is eventful, and we are both very glad to have a break from school!!! I got a library card yesterday, and there's no limit to how many books you can check out!!! I'm planning to read the entire library this summer :) We are visiting California on August 15, and are SO excited about it!!! We were planning to visit sooner, but my dad is in Brazil on a work trip, and we didn't want to visit when he'd be gone.
So, i have this cute new dress, but it's too short, so i got some black fabric to add some length to it. The problem is that i learn by making every mistake possible, and picking out almost every stitch i sew in. I wish i could visualize how the pieces of fabric go together instead of sewing them together wrong, and THEN being able to see how i should have done it the first time. Hopefully someday i will get better at sewing and make fewer dumb mistakes :) But even though i mess up a lot, i enjoy sewing :)
